Job description:
Under the supervision of the Service Manager, here are the tasks you will perform:
- Customer service;
- Information transfer between technicians and customers;
- Order parts from suppliers;
- Listening and analyzing needs;
- Make appointments with customers over the phone;
- Communication with customers to resolve post-sale issues and ensure follow-up;
- Assist technicians in the application of certain equipment;
- Coordinate and manage the work schedule of service technicians;
- Provide information on the operation of different heating and air-conditioning systems.

The daily routine of a service technician / refrigeration engineer
- Travel to customer sites in and around Quebec City and on the South Shore (Lévis);
- Analyze and diagnose faulty equipment;
- Repair heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps and other heating and air-conditioning systems;
- Carry out equipment servicing and maintenance.
Our service/refrigeration technicians are always at our customers’ premises or on the road, at the wheel of their dedicated new Mercedes truck. You’ll benefit from carefully maintained equipment, and we’ll provide everything you need to get the job done right.
The experienced refrigeration technician we’re looking for has a thorough grasp of the ins and outs of the trade. This seasoned professional works methodically, ensuring that everything is always clean and tidy, both at our customers’ premises and in his truck.
To fill this position, you must first:
- A DEP in refrigeration;
- A Certificate of Competence – journeyman refrigeration technician or apprentice refrigeration technician;
- Excellent command of all types of systems, including geothermal;
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the field;
- Valid driver’s license.

- Patience and attention to detail;
- Punctuality and attendance.
